Duck Sifu, in London Street, confirmed it had moved to a “delivery only” service after passers-by noticed its restaurant had not opened its doors in weeks.
The Chinese restaurant, which used to be the former Chicken Shop, was recently slapped with a one-star food hygiene rating.
The company can now be found on delivery giants, Uber Eats and Deliveroo, with a 4.4 star rating from more than 500 online reviews.
It is currently unknown the date in which the business closed its doors. Duck Sifu has been contacted for comment.

Earlier this month, the restaurant received a one-star food hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) after an inspection on November 5.
In the Norwich City Council’s in-depth report it found multiple issues with the company’s practices.
Issues ranged from food being stored uncovered in the fridges, food temperatures not being monitored and staff not seen to be washing their hands.
Other issues raised were the “standard of cleaning and maintenance were less than satisfactory” and were “failing to comply with the law in many respects”.

Owner Paul Liu opened Duck Sifu in July 2022, after saying he saw a gap in the market and investing £30,000 in the site’s renovation.

It serves dishes on the menu such as salt and pepper squid, okra with soy sauce and barbecue ribs.

Mr Liu said at the time: “It’s no different to what people would find in China.
“After asking our customers over a few months and getting feedback, a lot of people kept saying we should open a proper restaurant.
“So we opened up offering customers more authentic Chinese food and a place they can sit down to eat.”
