Looking for all the info on Aldi’s new gluten free range? The budget supermarket has released a ‘trial’ line of free from products in certain stores. From gluten free pasta and bread to cakes and biscuits, Aldi’s free from range looks varied and affordable. But what does the line include? And which stores stock it? Here’s everything we know so far…

Gluten free Facebook groups have been abuzz with the news this week that Aldi have launched a new ‘trial’ free from range in some of its stores.
It looks as if the new Aldi gluten free range includes pasta, cakes, biscuits, oats and more, as well as stocking some branded free from products alongside its own named goodies.
Unfortunately, Aldi appears to be keeping tight-lipped on this. I have contacted them for a list of products and stockists, which they have so far not been able to confirm.
PLEASE NOTE: I am in touch with Aldi’s press office over this and will update this post when I hear back. However, I stand by my journalistic principles of not publishing information until it’s verified, so until they confirm a store list, this is all I have 👀

It is however rumoured the Aldi gluten free products are only being trialled in a few different areas around the country, as many people haven’t been able to find them.
While the products aren’t in my local store (or any in the South West, it seems) gluten free folk have already taken to social media to ask the retailer to expand the range store-wide.
To which Aldi has replied: “Never say never.” So maybe there is hope! I guess the message is, get buying if you want to see the range stay – and prove there’s a demand.
Aldi Gluten Free Range Product List
Currently only two of the free products are listed on Aldi’s website – The Foodie Market Free From Fusilli and The Foodie Market Free From Spaghetti (pictured below).
Both packs are 65p each for a 500g bag – undercutting most of the other supermarket free from ranges. So let’s hope this helps to drive the prices down elsewhere!

As for the rest of the products, I’ve had to cobble together a list of what my lovely followers shared with me, as well as some other bloggers’ finds.
Both GFGlee and Coeliac Sanctuary managed to uncover the range in their local stores and published a list of some of their finds.
So thank you to them and some of the lovely members of my Facebook group who helped me compile this list, as Aldi currently are gatekeeping any information about the new range.

Aldi Gluten Free Range Stockists
This new free from range is not in every Aldi store in the UK – it appears to only be part of a trial in a few areas of the country.
I have contacted Aldi for a full list of stockists and as soon as I receive this I will add it here. That is, if I receive it – it seems to be very difficult to get any information from them at all!
It does appear that the range is only appearing in stores in certain regions. It’s certainly not in the South West, which is a shame.
Currently it’s understood the only stores stocking the Aldi gluten free range are in the following areas:
- West Midlands
- East Midlands
- Liverpool
- Manchester
- North Wales
- London
- South East
As soon as I receive official confirmation from Aldi, I will be sure to update this post!

Good news for the cost of free from?
Aldi is notorious for its low prices and I hope that even though not everyone can access this new range, it may force other supermarkets to lower their prices.
As it stands, for example, the new Aldi gluten free pasta is 65p for 500g. That compares to 90p in Sainsbury’s, 75p in Tesco and £1 in Asda for the same size bag.
So even if we can’t access the range (yet!?) it may well cause the other supermarkets to review the cost of theirs. Let’s keep an eye on it and see what happens!
Have you found the new Aldi gluten free range?
If you’ve spotted the range I’d love to know where! Please leave a comment to let everyone know if it’s in your local store.
And if you have tried it, what did you think? Personally I shop at Aldi a lot as I find their food pretty decent and a good price.
It would be SO nice to not have to go to a separate store just to get my own bread or pasta when I’m swinging by to grab a few bits and pieces.
So let’s keep our fingers crossed the Aldi gluten free range is good, and is here for a long time, not a good time…
